Synopsis:

 

After the boss of an organized crime gang is cut down by his own son, the only thing stopping him from ascending the throne is his sister, a foul-mouthed drunk who refuses to hand over her father’s legacy without a fight.

 

Producers statement:

 

"Chopsticks!!" was an immediate attraction from a producers standpoint. It was ambitious, challenging, and full of character, full of story. It knew what it wanted to say and I wanted to help carry this statement through the film it would become. I loved the strength of the female lead, I loved her attitude; she is gross and untamed, burdened by her morals, but driven by a need to do what is right. She is so forward thinking and a such a realistic role model to boot, I needed to see her in reality.

 

It was a huge undertaking though, we had to invest so much of ourselves, our time, or finances into it. But having a story that makes you do that is invigorating, definitely worth it.

 

Chopsticks!! is currently in production, awaiting its festival release in Summer 2018.
